Visalia Safes HOME

COLORFUL TOO!

Ever notice how boring most safes are when it comes to color???

We noticed too!

Well, we offer the same colors as everyone else, plus we offer the finish in crinkle (leaves no fingerprints visible) or glossy finishes.

But, we also will paint your safe just about any color you can cook up in your mind.

Shoot, we've even got a muralist that has come to our shop to apply a custom mural to one of our safes!

More than one color? No sweat! Take a look at the "Hot Wheels" safe - it was a special order of four safes for a family member who wanted matching safes for everyone! SO COOL!

YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS, WE'VE GOTANSWERS!!!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why do I need a safe?

Everyone has valuables or other things that are truly irreplaceable. Think about it - wills, legal documents, your children's drawings and creations, family photos and other family heirlooms. Rare or expensive jewelry. Gold and silver coins, coin collections, stamp collections, antiques.

We have yet to meet a person who doesn't have SOMETHING of significant personal or cost value. Many people are intimidated by safes because they're big and heavy. We can build you the exact safe you want or need. No size is too small or too large. CALL US and we will help you decide what size and features you need to protect your valuables.

Why do I need a gun safe? I have locks on all my guns already...

Purchasing a Gun Safe is the most responsible decision a gun owner will ever make. Locking your rifles, shotguns and pistols in a secure place prevents unauthorized access to firearms, preventing accidents and theft. Securing weapons in a gun safe is a great safety precaution, but equally as important, it reduces the chance of theft.
Really - why WOULDN'T you have a gun safe?

Are your safes waterproof?

Generally, no. If a safe is submerged in water it is going to take on some water. Basically, water tight = air tight. Neither are true. BUT, if the safe was in a fire the fire seal acts as a water barrier when it expands from heat. Unless the safe is completely submerged during or after a fire, there is little chance for water to penetrate the seals.

Has anyone ever successfully broken into one of your safes?

Nope. We have arrived at a customer site and found a safe drilled 17 times but it was never opened. They did manage to damage the locking system and that is why the customer called for assistance, but it was never opened and nothing was stolen - obviously!

Can I bolt my safe to the floor or wall?

We do not put any holes in our safes for mounting. Any hole in the safe will destroy it's integrity and protection from fire, plus it is an access point for water, moisture, smoke and other undesirable things like bugs.

Are your UFP safes really fire proof?

Fire proof is not a fair description of the technologies used to insulate the contents of your safe. WHAT? It's true - fire proof implies that it can withstand ANY fire. It would be foolish to say a safe is fireproof because there is always that one fire that will destroy the contents of a safe. No product on the market has been tested and proven to survive against every possible fire. BUT - our insulation on the Ultimate Fire Protection safes is resistant up to 3200 degrees of sustained heat.
