Visalia Safes only builds safes of high grade materials and ensures all safes are TIGHT, PRECISE and built to last a lifetime (or more!)
Every safe has doors of 1/4' steel plate outer layer is always 7 gauge steel and inner liners are 12 gauge steel.
Our Ultimate Fire Protection safes are AWESOME! We line them with 1" of ceramic wool blanket - this ceramic wool is the same insulation NASA uses on it's space vehicles and satellites! IT'S TRUE - SAME AS NASA!!!
Our ceramic wool is capable of withstanding 3260 degrees of heat as rated by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and our safes have been tested at 2300 degrees INDEFINITELY.
ULTIMATE FIRE PROTECTION - when you order an Ultimate Fire Protection safe from Visalia Safes you are actually getting a "safe inside of a safe". We build our standard safe out of 7 gauge (3/16") steel and 1/4" steel door, and then we insert another whole safe with the ceramic blanket. This "safe in a safe" is welded into place for a strong and secure safe.
Once the "safe in a safe" is built, we do all the finishing, smoothing all the edges and corners and smoothing out the welded piano-style hinge for a clean looking safe. Now that is is smooth on the outside, it gets its exterior paint job (we can paint ANY color your desire - just tell us!) and then we install the interior (we can customize the interior to what ever your needs might be...) neat and tidy.
Fit and finish of the safes doors, shelves, locks is all carried out throughout the construction process to ensure that nothing is overlooked. Our safes are built one at a time. There are no production lines here!
