SAFE TECHNOLOGY 101
learn about our unique relockers

Definition: RELOCKER
A relocker is a component of the complex locking mechanism that will relock the safe even after someone has attempted to open the safedoor by drilling parts of the lock mechanism.
No one buys a safe just to have it easily broken into and your valuables stolen forever.
Safes are called "safes" because they are supposed to be SAFE places to put valuable items. Visalia Safes are SAFE. They are built of high grade steel, made in America, carefully crafted to YOUR specifications.
Some of the technologies we use are electronic locks, 1" chrome steel bolts, recessed doors, hardened lock components, spring relockers and we also do not put the mechanisms in the same place every time. Each locking system is slightly, or sometimes radically, different than the safe made the day before.
This is quite deliberate.
WHY? Because we have no need to make them the same. Other safe companies make ALL their safes the same, day in & day out. There is some risk in doing things this way. If all the safes are identical, how hard is it for someone who's worked on those safes to know how to break into one? Pretty easy. Visalia Safes trusts its employees, of course, but we also know that if we mix things up a bit, well, it's just one more layer of security for YOU. Also, we NEVER provide "maps" of our safe doors to police, or anyone else for that matter. It's your safe, your privacy.
Our locks are made by Sargent and Greenleaf (S&G) and are made of the highest grade materials, ultra reliable and known GLOBALLY as a world leader high security locks for safes and vaults. In business as a lock company since 1857, we are confident in S&G's products.
